
SL Vs BAN: Mahedi Hasan Creates HISTORY, Breaks MASSIVE World Record Held By Harbhajan Singh

Sri Lanka were defeated by Bangladesh in the third T20I of the three-match series at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. They thus win the series. The visitors lost the toss and were bowling first. However, they completely rattled the hosts. As SL were restricted to 132 in the first innings, the man who stole the show for Bangladesh with the ball was Mahedi Hasan. The star spinner put up a sensational performance and as a result broke a world record held by the legendary Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh.
Mahedi Hasan finished with figures of 4/11 from his four overs. He now becomes the away bowler with the best T20I figures in Colombo. He breaks the record set by Harbhajan Singh in the 2012 T20 World Cup against England. He had finished with figures of 4/12 in his four overs in that match.

Mehadi Hasan, Tanzid Hasan Help Bangladesh Seal Series
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. However, they had a pretty poor innings as they could only manage to score 132/7, Pathum Nissanka and Dasun Shanaka scored 46 and 35 respectively, while Mehadi Hasan got 4 wickets, becoming Bangladesh's hero with the ball.
`Bangladesh comfortably chased down the target in 16.2 overs, losing just two wickets. Tanzid Hasan Tamim was the star with the bat for the visitors as he scored 73 from 47 balls. The visitors won by 8 wickets and clinched the series.
