WWE is now conducting their last major event before Summerslam 2025, with a massive Saturday Night's Main Event being held on July 13 (IST) at Atlanta, Georgia. One of the biggest matches at the event was none other than Seth Rollins taking on the crowd-favourite LA Knight. The two had a pretty bitter rivalry coming into this game, and were supposed to have a big match at the mega event. However, it ended in an unexpected fashion, as Rollins might have received a major setback that puts his Summerslam participation in doubt.
During the match against LA Knight, Rollins was going along pretty smoothly till he attempted a springboard senton followed by a springboard moonsault. While going for the moonsault, he landed awkwardly on his feet, which put pressure on his knee, and he seemed to have tweaked it. After that, he lay in the corner, as things seemed pretty serious, with doctors coming in and checking on him. He had a chat with them, where he apparently told them that he could not continue with the match.
After that, he somehow got back to his feet, before LA Knight hit his finishing move, the Blunt Force Trauma (BFT) on him to get a quick win. This finish seemed hasty, as Rollins' injury appears to be serious. He was even helped to the back.
If the former WWE champion is indeed injured, this puts his appearance for Summerslam 2025, which is just three weeks away, in serious doubt.
Incidentally, Rollins is the current Mr Money in the Bank and is in the middle of a mega push, where he is the leader of a big faction consisting of him, Bron Brekker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman. Hence, this injury is a big setback for him and the WWE as a whole.

Seth Rollins' Knee Injury History

Seth Rollins has always had issues with his knee right throughout his career. In 2015, during a match against Kane in Dublin, Rollins tore the ACL, MCL, and medial meniscus in his right knee while attempting a sunset flip powerbomb. This put him on the sidelines for 7 months, and he even had to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as a result.
Before Wrestlemania 33, he tore his MCL once again on his right knee, putting his much hyped match against Triple H in doubt. However, he rehabbed intensely to get back in time for the big match.
