Rohit Sharma hasn't played international cricket since the 2025 Champions Trophy final and the fans are eagerly waiting for The Hitman's return to the international circuit. Rohit's scheduled comeback to international cricket is officially delayed as India won't travel to Bangladesh. Sri Lanka Cricket recently wrote to the BCCI for a white-ball series and Rohit, along with Virat Kohli, could make his international comeback in the island nation. Rohit gave up T20I cricket after leading India to the 2024 World Cup win while he quit Test cricket in May.
Rohit Sharma continues to play ODIs and he is set to lead the Men in Blue in the 2027 World Cup. The right-handed batsman is on the cusp of overtaking Sourav Ganguly in a huge batting list and he can go past the former India skipper in the first game he plays upon his return.
