Jasprit Bumrah continued to prove why he is the undisputed best bowler in the world by once again being the star of India's bowling effort in the third Test against England, as the hosts were bowled out for 387 on Friday (July 11) at the Lord's Cricket Ground.
Bumrah put his name on the iconic honours board of the 'home of cricket' with a stunning spell of 5-74, which included the big wickets of Harry Brook, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Chris Woakes, and Jofra Archer. Jasprit Bumrah Shatters Kapil Dev's Record
Bumrah's 16th five-wicket haul of his career in Test cricket is also his 13th away from home, which is the most by any Indian player in history. The 31-year-old broke Kapil Dev's record, which stood for 34 years, as the ex-Indian captain took 12 five-fors in his career outside Indian shores.

Bumrah also equalled Wasim Akram (11) for having the most five-wicket haul among Asian bowlers in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia). The Indian star also matched Imran Khan for the five-wicket hauls away from home by an Asian pacer. Infact, among fast bowlers, only six bowlers (Richard Haddlee, Glenn McGrath), Wasim Akram, Sydney Barnes, Malcolm Marshall, Courtney Walsh) have more five-fors in away countries than Bumrah.
Meanwhile, this is Bumrah's fourth five-wicket haul in England. No other Indian bowler has more than 2.
