Novak Djokovic continued his stellar form at Wimbledon 2025 and defeated fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 to advance to the round of 16. The win helped Djokovic script history and become only the third player after Martina Navratilova and Roger Federer to record 100 wins at Wimbledon. Navratilova, a nine-time Wimbledon singles champion, won 120 singles matches while Federer registered wins in 105 games.
Djokovic also became the second player after Federer to record 100 wins at two Grand Slams. Federer's other 100+ wins came at the Australian Open, where he registered 102 wins. Djokovic, on the other hand, also has 101 wins at the French Open.

Djokovic was in full flow in the match and defeated Miomir without breaking a sweat in less than two hours. He was only broken once during the game, and hit twice more winners than unforced errors. He also bagel (6-0 set win) Miomir in the second set. It helped the veteran achieve a rare feat. Djokovic became the first player in the world to serve 51 bagels in Grand Slam history in the Open Era. He broke the record of Andre Agassi, who had 50 bagels to his name.

Djokovic Calls 100 Wins Milestone At Wimbledon Historic

Meanwhile, when Djokovic was informed about his milestone, he called it a historic achievement. The Serb is chasing history at Wimbledon, aiming for his eighth title. He currently has the second most Wimbledon titles - seven, with Federer at the top with eight wins.
"Very historic. It sounds very nice," he replied. "Very grateful, obviously. I'm very privileged to be in the position that I am. I've said it many times, tennis made me who I am and has given me incredible things in life that I can experience, and I try not to take anything for granted, particularly at this age, still going strong, still trying to compete with the young players and doing some slides and splits on the court, pushing myself to the limit.
"Wimbledon is a favorite tournament and a dream tournament of not just myself, but so many—probably the majority—of the tennis players. Growing up, most kids dream of playing here and winning here, and I've been blessed to do it multiple times.
"Any history I make at my favorite tournament, I'm blessed," he said.
