He broke Ben Stokes' record, who scored 21 sixes in South Africa. Pant also closed the gap with Ben Stokes in the list of most sixes in the World Test Championship (WTC). Pant currently has 68 sixes to his name, and Ben Stokes tops the charts with 83 sixes.
