India are all set to take on England in the second Test of the five-match series at the iconic Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. The visitors will be coming on the back of a disappointing 5-wicket loss in the first Test at Leeds. Hence, they would be looking for a win in this match to level the series by a margin of 1-1. For that they would need to perform out of of their skin. However, Shubman Gill and his team will be a little worried as the weather conditions do not look ideal.

India Vs England 2nd Test Day 1 Weather Report

The time of the match is set to be affected by rain, according to Accuweather.com. There is an 81% chance of rainfall during the day on July 2 i.e, Day 1 of the Test match, with a 23% chance of thunderstorms. This would mean that we might lose a few overs during the day, and play might be affected.

India To Make Three Changes

In a desperate bid to win the second Test, India are set to go with three all-rounders in the playing XI. While Washington Sundar comes in place of Sai Sudharsan, Ravindra Jadeja is expected to retain his place, the Indian Express report states. In fact, Jadeja might move one place up to number 6 in this game.
Nitish Kumar Reddy is expected to come in as the third all-rounder in place of Shardul Thakur, who had a poor outing in the first Test with both bat and ball.
Jasprit Bumrah is expected to miss the second Test vs England owing to workload management issues, in what comes as a big blow to Team India. While there were reports that Arshdeep Singh might replace him, the Indian Express report states that Akash Deep is expected to come in his place.
