India and Pakistan share the record for the most matches played in Edgbaston without a win, with both teams playing eight games each at the venue. The Indian team's record is the worst by a visiting team at the venue as their arch-rivals have three draws and five defeats. Meanwhile, India has played seven Test matches at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium (Pakistan) without a victory, as well as six each at Georgetown, Guyana (West Indies), and National Stadium at Karachi (Pakistan) have no wins to show.
Sri Lanka also never won the venue but has played just twice in Birmingham. Among other visiting teams, South Africa (6 matches) and New Zealand (5 matches) have won once each at the venue, while the West Indies have four victories in 11 appearances. Australia hold the record for the most wins by a visiting team with five wins in 16 outings.
England have a remarkable record at the venue with 30 wins and 15 draws in 56 matches at Edgbaston.
