India U-19 batter Harvansh Singh Pangalia slammed a brutal century against England U-19 in the warm-up game ahead of the multi-format tour, where India U-19 will play five youth ODIs and two Youth Tests. Harvansh came into bat in the 36th over and left the England bowlers reeling with his onslaught. At 251/7, the match was evenly poised; however, the stunning hundred by the India batter batted England out of the game.
Batting first, India were off to a poor start as Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi didn't make much contribution. India suffered a collapse early and were reduced to 91/5 in the 13th over. Kanishk Chouhan (79) and Rahul Kumar (73) came to India's rescue, adding 140 runs in 112 balls.
Harvansh, along with RS Ambrish, took the game away from England U19 with a 126-run stand. Ambrish played a crisp innings of 72 in 47 balls before departing. At that time, Harvansh was batting at 47 in 33 balls. He went berserk in the final three overs, reaching his century in 52 balls, including nine sixes and taking India to a strong total of 442/9.
